I stayed in the Deluxe room at Pension Solde, a gem in the quiet suburb of Dortmund-Mitte. The box-spring bed was a dream, and the flat-screen TV added a modern touch. The proximity to Lidl and transportation links made exploring the city a breeze.The room was spotless, with a spacious bathroom that exceeded my expectations. While the shared bathroom was impeccably clean, I appreciated the sink in my room for added convenience. The overall vibe felt more upscale than expected from the hostel-like exterior. The staff went above and beyond, offering a smart key system and ensuring my comfort throughout my stay. As a photographer, I appreciated the soundproofing for a peaceful night's sleep and the free in-room WiFi to stay connected. The hotel's proximity to shopping areas like Hansaplatz and Westenhellweg Street was a bonus for some quick retail therapy. Whether you're a solo traveler like me or exploring with companions, this hidden gem is definitely worth a visit for a memorable stay in Dortmund.
